Judging a Book by its Cover

Maureen Johnson, author of fantastic books like 13 Little Blue Envelopes and The Bermudez Triangle, recently got tired of hearing from guys that they wished her books didn't have such "girly" covers.

So she issued a challenge to the book-reading world: create new covers for favorite books as if the author was the opposite gender.

It's funny and thought provoking at the same time to see what people have come up with and think about how differently you respond to the book with a different cover.
