There are so many great websites that promote books and reading out there that we're starting an occasional series highlighting some of these fantastic sites.
The first in our series is Goodreads.
If you haven't heard of it yet go ahead and follow the link and take a look. You'll find a great website for keeping track of what books you've read, what books you're reading right now (which can be a surprisingly large number!) and what books you want to read.
It's a great way to connect with friends and see what they are reading, and you can read reviews written by others to get the inside scoop on something you're thinking about reading.
For those of us who read a lot it's a great tool for keeping track of what you've read (I hate it when someone asks me what I've read recently and I draw a complete blank - ack!) Plus, there are always so many new books that look interesting, and adding them to your "to-read" bookshelf in Goodreads is a great way to keep track of those too.
And now you can connect your Goodreads account to your Facebook account, and share notes on what you've been reading and your reviews through your Facebook timeline!
Take a look, check it out, and sign up - it's free!
And while you're at it, friend the Teen Zone on Goodreads - we are MVPL-Teen Zone
